Robert Barbichon Champagnes are now seeing the fourth generation at work, it has been about ten years since organic farming was introduced, with biodynamics coming a few vintages later.
The Champagne house is located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, its 9 hectares running in 5 villages around Gyé sur Seine on clay and limestone soils. Thomas and Maxime, now in charge of the vines and vinification, do their utmost to ensure that the magic of the terroirs and the elegance of the grape varieties (74% Pinot Noir, 12% Chardonnay, 6% White Pinot and 8% Pinot Meunier) are expressed in the wines.
Making wine is the opportunity to share different notions such as "Terroir, passion, work, patience, temperament, ideologies, philosophy" through a drink with wine lovers, who must find all these notions in our Champagne.
